Trojans or malware are often found on Windows OS. Many bad actors try to find security holes in Windows and exploit them for their own benefit. There is lots of private data that you want to protect, and a Trojan can easily steal it from you. But what if malware is found on your mobile phone? You save a lot of your data on your mobile, right?

Most Android applications are distributed in the form of Android Packages (.apk), and this was no exception. APK files can be opened with dexdump, which means they can be modified. The application can get any information in your Android mobile. What if they send your contacts, or send spam messages to your contact list on your behalf? Many scary things could happen.
As I found in an article by Alain Zidouemba from VRT, which proves that malware was found in an Android application to send an SMS Trojan to your contact list.
Since mobile phone sales are much higher than PC sales nowadays, it is very much possible that attackers will change their target to mobile phone users, and it won’t take long until they find vulnerabilities in smartphones. So be sure to download your application files from trusted websites or trusted markets. Don’t use cracked software since it has a high possibility of injecting malicious code.
