After waiting for Ubuntu 9.04 release date, and 15 hours upgrading from Ubuntu 8.10 to Ubuntu 9.04, i dissapointed with Ubuntu 9.04 performance. Ubuntu 9.04 is much slower in performance rather than Ubuntu 8.10. And after googling a while, looks like i'm not alone, i found this thread complaining about Ubuntu 9.04 performance.
