SEO or search engine optimization is a technique or process to increase your web visibility in search engine results for certain search keywords. As Google is nowadays widely used for searching anything on the web, SEO becomes more and more important if you want your website to have lots of visitors. As a website owner, of course you want your website to be highly visited for any reason.
So I would like to share these 2 videos from Matt Cutts, head of the Google Web Spam team, explaining and reviewing basic SEO. These videos are a little bit old but still useful for beginners in SEO. In the first video, Matt explains the good and bad of a WordPress blog in the eyes of the Google search engine. In the second video, Matt reviews some websites at Google I/O 2010. I’ve learned a lot from these 2 videos and I’d like to share them with you as well. Hope you like them.
