Connecting your host operating system to a VMware guest operating system gives you simplicity and convenience to use both at the same time. One feature is shared clipboard: when you copy some text from the host OS you can paste it in the VMware guest OS. To share the clipboard you need to install VMware Tools in the VM operating system.
